for <strong>calculating the carbon footprint in the agri\u2011food sector<\/strong>, and<strong> integrate it into public procurement processes<\/strong> to improve the sector\u2019s <strong>sustainability<\/strong>.<\/p><p>By collecting data on the carbon footprint of specific agri\u2011food enterprises and products, we will <strong>identify the most critical areas<\/strong> and <strong>propose solutions<\/strong> to reduce the carbon footprint of agri\u2011food companies.<\/p><p>Our goal is to design a <strong>methodology that is sufficiently accurate in critical, carbon\u2011intensive categories<\/strong>, yet <strong>simple<\/strong> enough for small and medium\u2011sized enterprises to apply these standards and procedures without difficulty in the future.<\/p><p>By collaborating with public procurement specialists and embedding carbon criteria into public procurement processes, the project aims to create space for <strong>responsible
