Decarb Track<\/i><\/b> was also presented to the professional community associated with <\/i>AmCham Slovakia \u2013 American Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic<\/i><\/b>. The project was presented during the event <\/i>ESG Best Practice Sharing \u2013 Ko\u0161ice edition!<\/i><\/b>, which took place on <\/i>11 June 2026<\/i><\/b> at <\/i>the University Science Park TECHNICOM, Bo\u017eeny N\u011bmcovej 5, Ko\u0161ice<\/i><\/b>.<\/i><\/p>

The Decarb Track project was presented by <\/i>doc. Ing. Jana Koz\u00e1kov\u00e1, PhD. <\/i><\/b>, who represents <\/i>the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra<\/i><\/b> within the <\/i>Sustainability and Resilience Committee<\/i><\/b> at AmCham Slovakia, together with her colleague <\/i>Ing. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Michali\u010dka, PhD.<\/i><\/b>, who is also the university\u2019s representative at AmCham Slovakia.<\/i><\/p>

The presentation of the Decarb Track project was part of a broader contribution focused on profiling <\/i>the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra as a green university<\/i><\/b> and on presenting its activities in the areas of sustainability, ESG approaches, environmental responsibility, and support for decarbonisation. In this context, the Decarb Track project was introduced as a representative example of the university\u2019s practical activities in carbon footprint tracking, supporting low-emission solutions in the agri-food sector, and linking research results with the needs of practice. <\/i><\/p>

The ESG Best Practice Sharing \u2013 Ko\u0161ice edition! event focused on sharing examples of best practice, experience, and practical solutions in sustainability, improving business processes, employee engagement, and innovation strategies. The participation of SUA representatives at this event created an opportunity to present the Decarb Track project to a professional community made up of representatives of the business sector, ESG experts, representatives of financial and other institutions, as well as other stakeholders involved in the discussion on climate resilience, decarbonisation of the economy, and sustainable development. <\/i><\/p>

On the same day, <\/i>11 June 2026<\/i><\/b>, doc. Ing. Jana Koz\u00e1kov\u00e1, PhD., and Ing. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Michali\u010dka, PhD., also represented <\/i>the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra<\/i><\/b> at the follow-up event <\/i>Summer Innovation In Motion Business Cocktail<\/i><\/b>, which took place in <\/i>the Botanical Garden of Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice<\/i><\/b>. Their participation contributed to further strengthening the university\u2019s visibility among AmCham Slovakia members and partners and to developing contacts with representatives of the business, innovation, and professional community.<\/i><\/p>

This dissemination activity helped raise awareness of the Decarb Track project among relevant stakeholders from academia, business, and the professional community. At the same time, it strengthened the visibility of <\/i>the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra<\/i><\/b> as an active partner in sustainable development and as an institution that, through the Decarb Track project, delivers concrete tools and solutions to support local producers and agri-food businesses and to help them prepare for the requirements of a low-emission, ESG-oriented economy.<\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
