Decarb Track was also presented to the professional community associated with AmCham Slovakia – American Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic. The project was presented during the event ESG Best Practice Sharing – Košice edition!, which took place on 11 June 2026 at the University Science Park TECHNICOM, Boženy Němcovej 5, Košice.
The Decarb Track project was presented by doc. Ing. Jana Kozáková, PhD. , who represents the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra within the Sustainability and Resilience Committee at AmCham Slovakia, together with her colleague Ing. Tomáš Michalička, PhD., who is also the university’s representative at AmCham Slovakia.
The presentation of the Decarb Track project was part of a broader contribution focused on profiling the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra as a green university and on presenting its activities in the areas of sustainability, ESG approaches, environmental responsibility, and support for decarbonisation. In this context, the Decarb Track project was introduced as a representative example of the university’s practical activities in carbon footprint tracking, supporting low-emission solutions in the agri-food sector, and linking research results with the needs of practice.
The ESG Best Practice Sharing – Košice edition! event focused on sharing examples of best practice, experience, and practical solutions in sustainability, improving business processes, employee engagement, and innovation strategies. The participation of SUA representatives at this event created an opportunity to present the Decarb Track project to a professional community made up of representatives of the business sector, ESG experts, representatives of financial and other institutions, as well as other stakeholders involved in the discussion on climate resilience, decarbonisation of the economy, and sustainable development.
On the same day, 11 June 2026, doc. Ing. Jana Kozáková, PhD., and Ing. Tomáš Michalička, PhD., also represented the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra at the follow-up event Summer Innovation In Motion Business Cocktail, which took place in the Botanical Garden of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. Their participation contributed to further strengthening the university’s visibility among AmCham Slovakia members and partners and to developing contacts with representatives of the business, innovation, and professional community.
This dissemination activity helped raise awareness of the Decarb Track project among relevant stakeholders from academia, business, and the professional community. At the same time, it strengthened the visibility of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra as an active partner in sustainable development and as an institution that, through the Decarb Track project, delivers concrete tools and solutions to support local producers and agri-food businesses and to help them prepare for the requirements of a low-emission, ESG-oriented economy.
